The Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Chicago is pleased to announce its annual “Call for Nominations,” in which Club members may propose names to the Club’s Nominating Panel for consideration as Nominees to the Chicago Booth Alumni Club Board of Directors.
The Board positions are for a 2-year term and require active participation in monthly Board meetings and other Board planning and execution activities throughout the year.
Self-nominations, as well as nominations made by third parties, must be submitted to the Nominating Panel no later than close of business on Sunday, September 30, 2012.
To self-nominate or to submit a nomination on behalf of another, please provide and transmit the following information, via e-mail, to the Nominating Panel at nominations@chicagoboothalumniclub.org.
For the Nominee or Self-Nominee:
• Nominee’s full name and year of graduation from GSB/Chicago Booth
• Nominee’s contact info, including telephone and e-mail address
• Nominee’s prior experience serving on Boards or Committees of the University of Chicago, Chicago Booth School of Business, the Chicago Booth Alumni Club or other Booth affiliated organizations, including service with Chicago Booth student organizations
• Other relevant information relating the nominee’s qualifications and willingness to serve on the Board
• A statement from the Nominee that, if duly elected to serve as a Board Member, the Nominee will actively participate in Board governance and related activities and will abide by the rules, requirements and bylaws of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club
For the Third-Party Nominator (if applicable):
• Nominator’s full name and year of graduation from GSB/Chicago Booth
• Nominator’s contact info, including telephone and e-mail address
• A statement that Nominee understands and consents to the nomination
• Other relevant information relating the nominee’s qualifications and willingness to serve on the Board
